Transportation to Dialysis Treatments
Most insurances do not pay for transportation to dialysis. In some
states, Medicaid provides for transportation.
Patients or their families bring patients for their dialysis
treatments.
Other options are local bus transportation companies, local private
transportation companies and taxi cabs. The social worker at your
dialysis facility can provide details for these options.
